Last night we went to my parents' house to celebrate John's birthday. My mom made some cupcakes (buddy's favorite) and John open
ed some presents. John turned 30 years old, so he has been alive for 3 decades. Where does time go? Buddy was excited to have some "mupcakes"...that is his name for cupcakes. He likes to eat all the frosting off first with
the sprinkles . We played some games, including Mormon Bridge (a sunday favorite) and some of us went for a walk. It was fun to hang out. We are so grateful to be living so close to family so we can share in events like these. It is so nice to be able to go out to movies together, go shopping with your brothers and sisters, have dinner and just be able to run over to their house to drop something off if we need to or to babysit. Jared and I are so grateful for this time i
n our life and we realize how blessed we are to be going to UCI, for me to have a good job that I enjoy, and for so many other blessings we have been given.
