Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we spent the day with my family and then Friday with the Goodmans. Dinner was wonderful like always. Mom out did herself with homemade everything. We made Grandma's pumpkin pies, Gulliver's corn, rolls, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sparkling cider, broccoli caserole, jello, and candy cane ice cream. After dinner we decorated gingerbread boys and girls, set up the Christmas tree and watched a movie. We had a fun relaxing day.
On Friday Jared and I started out early to the mall to catch the sales and get some Christmas shopping done. Ethan really enjoyed all the lights and music in the stores. The stores didn't seem to be that crowded this year. After shopping we went Go Cart racing with the Goodmans. The go carts go up to 50 mph around an indoor track and you can race with up to 8 people. It was intense at times but very enjoyable. You are not supposed to bump each other but sometimes we couldn't help it. Each race consisted of 16 times around the track and we did two races. I definitely would go again.
