Back from Lake Powell

We had such a fun week at Lake Powell. This morning we got back after enjoying several days there along with celebrating the 4th of July with the Goodmans. It was so much fun like always and it was Ethan's first Lake Powell experience. It was fun to have Dad, Jeff, and Heather there with us. Heather and Dad had been before but it was Jeff's first experience. Dad hadn't been since he was 15 years old so it was as if it were his first time again. They loved it and think Lake Powell is pretty cool. Dad was in heaven!

Ethan did really well and enjoyed the boat rides. He didn't love wearing the life vest but once the boat was going he loved it. The boat put him to sleep which was really nice since he had a hard time falling asleep for naps and at night. He had everything working against him while we were there. He got sick a few days before we went with a fever and diarrhea but was on the mend when we got there. While there his top two teeth broke through which brought a cold and runny nose along with it. He had few naps and was extremely tired but for all the pain he was experiencing he did really well. He was a trooper. He is feeling better now and is glad to have his bed back.

It was sad not having Jared there but next time he'll come for sure. Going on the jet skies just wasn't as fun without being able to throw Jared off - but there is still October so watch out. We had so much fun playing games, watching movies, having firework shows at night, devotionals, going to Rainbow Bridge, the jet skies, and all the water sports. Life doesn't get much better than that. Thanks to the Goodmans for another fun time at Lake Powell.
