Ethan can talk!

Yesterday Ethan was playing in his room and I thought he said ball. I didn't think much about it because he says a lot of sounds and words while babbling that I just assumed that is what he was doing. A little later Jared was in his room playing with him and he gave Ethan a ball and as he was holding the ball, he said ball twice. This afternoon Ethan started to wave hello and good-bye and started saying "hi". We got him to say hi several times while waving. It was so cute! He is starting to point all the time at objects. This afternoon while Jared and Ethan were playing outside Ethan heard a plane in the sky and looked up in the sky and started pointing at the plane while following it. He has always loved airplanes. He also got some new shoes yesterday but is not a fan of them quite yet. He has never enjoyed anything on his feet but socks. He is definitely walking now and follows us all over. Today was also his first time in a big carseat facing forward and he seemed to enjoy it. It is weird for us to look in the backseat and see Ethan staring at us. He is growing up so fast and is no longer a little baby.
