Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year with both our families. Christmas Eve we had a nice dinner with the Goodmans followed by games, home videos and pie at our apartment. In the morning Ethan woke up to a train table from Santa and a kitchen set from Mommy and Daddy. He was one happy boy!
After opening gifts at our house we went to the Goodman home for a nice breakfast, more presents and a phone call from Elder Brett. Ethan got a second kitchen set to stay at Grammy and Grandpa's house - it doesn't get much better than that.
Ethan loves Joy. She is so willing to play with him and help out wherever she can.
Grandpa and Ethan putting together the kitchen set. Ethan loves to be involved and is quite the little helper.
Testing out how the oven works in the new kitchen - he doesn't quite fit!
Ethan was excited about his Busy Town board game. I read him the Busy Town book quite often at bedtime so he was excited to see Lowly the worm and Huckle the Cat.
Grammy and Grandpa also gave him a conductor's outfit that came with a whistle, hat, walkie talkie, watch and train tickets. Both our families were so good to us and we are so grateful for their love and generosity.
Later in the day we went to the Fisher for more Christmas festivities. Ethan got a new Thomas the Train I spy book from Nana and Papa. Ethan got so many gifts he didn't know what to do by the end of the day. He was content with one gift and then we had to pull him away from them to open another. It's a hard life to be so loved. :)

Ethan loves to build a human tunnel for the Christmas train. Santa sits at the head of the train and says all kinds of things. It is definitely a favorite among the grandchildren!

The whole gang - Jared, me, Jeff, Rachel, Dad, Heather, Dan, Evan, Laurie, John
Ethan, Mom, Jack and Clayton
Ethan loves having Heather home from school. He is in heaven with all the family in town and won't know what to do when everyone is gone. With so many people to play with, he wants very little to do with boring old Mommy and Daddy (which can be a nice break at times).
We have had a great Christmas break so far and love having Daddy home with us. We are looking forward to starting a new year with many fun and exciting changes coming our way.

It was a great Christmas. Baby was cute on Christmas. It's been very fun to play with him. I liked your recap! I'm glad we got so many good pictures.
