I went to a friend's house last week and she made these cookies which were really good! You use vanilla pudding which is different but they make them light and fluffy.
2 sticks butter, softened
1/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding (don't make up as pudding, just use as powder)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 c. flour
1 pkg. chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugars together very well. Add pudding and mix just until blended. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add soda and flour and mix just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 10-14 minutes. You want the edges just barely golden brown when you pull them out. They'll firm up as they cool.
