This week has been Jared's spring break - although he had to do his last make-up rotation for taking eight weeks off when Ethan was born. Even though he had to work, the rotation was extremely light and he was off by noon everyday.
We've had fun having daddy around! We went to the park to feed the ducks, played around the house a lot, had a few Easter egg hunts, and went to the
OC Great Park to ride the orange balloon. Ethan enjoyed the balloon ride looking out at an altitude of 400 ft over south Orange County. On Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt that was put on by people in our ward that we ended up missing out on due to them starting way ahead of
schedule. We got our own eggs and had our own hunt though.
My due date is 20 days away! I am definitely on the home stretch and feeling great. We have not done anything to get ready - no clothes are hanging up, no car seat is out, no double stroller yet, and everything else is still in storage. This week we need to get on the ball or we will end up with a baby and nothing for it. The time has flown by and we are excited to meet baby Tanner.
