This morning we blessed Tanner in our ward and were able to have most of our family members with us. Jared gave Tanner a beautiful blessing! I am always amazed at how well thought out and articulate Jared is. He blessed Tanner with strength physically, mentally, spiritually, and that the light of Christ would shine bright throughout his life.
He blessed him with ambition and self-determination, with humility and sweetness of spirit, and that others would be drawn to his example. He also blessed him with gifts of the Spirit, particularly the gift of faith and the gift of discernment, and that he would serve a full-time mission and be sealed in the temple.
Jared blessed him to be close to his family and to build strong relationships with them. He also blessed Tanner that he would always stay close to his Father in Heaven, to go to Him in prayer, and to make decisions according to His will. Jared closed with telling Tanner of our love for him. It was a beautiful blessing and a wonderful day with family!
