Work Baby Shower

Yesterday the ladies at work threw me a joint baby shower with Jenny. She is a month behind me and we both work in the front office. Jean was so kind to host it at her house, which was really nice.
Most everyone from the office was there, making it around 35 people. Everyone at the office has always been very involved and supportive in the events that are going on in people's lives and then celebrating them.
Jenny and I both got some really nice things from everyone. They got me my pack-n-play, bouncer, diaper genie, gift cards, a ton of really cute outfits and some other baby essentials. They were very generous.
This is a picture of me with Laura, Tracy, Randi and Pauline. Randi and Tracy were so nice and gave me a few Ralph Lauren outfits which are so cute. I really have become good friends with everyone in the office. Sometimes it seems the front office people are closer to each other and then the nurses in the back are close to each other, but I really have become close to all of them equally which I have really enjoyed.
Jenny and I each had a baby cake - mine being for a boy and hers for a girl. Mine was a white cake with strawberries (my favorite!) and hers was chocolate with banana cream.
Jean had beautiful arrangements of flowers all over her house with balloons and other cute decorations. She really knows how to throw a party. Her house is so pretty and welcoming.
This is a picture of the front office. From the left there's Charlotte, Barbara, Pablo, Rachel, Tracie, Jennifer, Yvette, Jenny, me, Avalina, her husband Chris and daughter Natalie.
During the baby shower we also played a few games. For one they had to guess how many gum balls were in the baby bottle and for another whoever had a red dot on their bottle won a prize. We also played a game where you were blind-folded and you had to see how many cotton balls you could get into the bowl with a big spoon. It was such a fun shower and very helpful in getting set up for the baby.
