Mom, Ethan and I went to Utah for five days to visit family and have some fun. Ethan did really well in the car considering he had to sit all day in his car seat. The trip normally takes about 9 hours but it took us 13 hours due to the stops we had to make for Ethan. We decided to make the drive as pleasant as we could so we always stopped for a break before Ethan got upset. We only stopped a few times but we let him run around for about an hour at a time. We had plenty of toys, food and a portable DVD player that saved our lives. We put Baby Einstein in for Ethan and it put him in a trance. I don't know if that is normally a good thing but for the trip it was. He loved the shapes and colors of the video. It is always a relief to get to your destination when you are traveling with children.
