Jared has been working hard this last month in his Internal Medicine rotation and has been enjoying his time in the hospital. He gets one day off a week and this week he got Friday off so we took advantage. On Thursday night we went to Yogurt Land, one of our new favorite places, and then rented two Redbox movies. On Friday Mom watched Ethan during his nap so we could see
Angels and Demons in the dollar theater. It was pretty good but Jared likes the first one better. Before the movie we got some Del Taco for lunch and after the movie we stopped at Jamba Juice for a refreshing smoothie. It was a great afternoon having Jared around. In the evening we went to dinner with the Goodmans at Souplantation as a farewell to Seth and Katie who left for medical school in Iowa yesterday. What a fun day! Ethan loved the food at Souplantation and was so funny.
Tonight we took family pictures at Eisenhower Park with my family. Everyone was to wear some shade of blue or white and jeans. We had Kayli Johnson, who has been visiting Heather this last week, take our pictures. The last time Jared and I were at Eisenhower Park we were taking our engagement pictures in 2004. How times have changed over the last five years. Now we are bringing our little boy to have a family picture with us. Everyone did really well and it was worth the effort to go to the park.
