No longer a baby

This little boy is growing up so fast. This last week while on our trip I have seen a whole new Ethan come out. He is really maturing and transforming into a big boy. It still amazes me to see him play by himself with his toys for a length of time. He is expressing himself so much more, and saying a lot more phrases. Right now he loves trains and wakes up saying "choo choo!" The other day we taught him to move his hands back and forth like the wheels on a train and then move his hand up and down as if he is pulling the horn while saying "chugga chugga, choo choo!" and then "all aboard!"

As mentioned in my last post he is very social and loves to say hi to people. In the last week he has taken on new expressions and will be shy at times and "hide" behind his hands. He is such a ham and will repeat anything we say to his best ability. He is still in love with his milk, grandparents, friends, outdoors and puppies. The older he is getting the more mellow he is becoming because he understands us better and he can express himself. He is at a stage that he loves babies. We have friends with small infants and he will go up to them without being prompted and hug them and get them to smile at him. I am so grateful for him in our life and I love being his mom.
