Today was Jared's day off, and since Ethan plays with Grandma on Wednesday's, Jared and I started the morning out by going to the temple. The last few sessions we have attended we just happened to be with a large group of Chinese people who came to visit the US. The temple workers said they came from the most northern part of China, so this is a once in a life time trip for them because many of them only get to attend church twice a year. I am so grateful we have a church and temple five minutes from us. We are blessed to live in the states.

Afterward, we went to lunch at Pei Wei, a Chinese restaurant down the street. It's been a long time since we have had chinese food and this place is reasonable with good portions and pretty good food. After a nap we picked up Ethan and headed to the Orange County Fair to meet up with my family. Today at the fair if you brought a new children's book you got in for free along with a free carnival ride. Everyone used their ticket on a giant slide but Ethan was just a little too short so we ended up taking him on a slide that wasn't as tall. He seemed to like it and wanted to go again. We also got to see oxen, newborn pigs, goats, rabbits and all kinds of animals. It was fun to have Jared home for the day and get to go from event to event.
