Suspicious envelope closes Mormon temple

Salt Lake Temple-Picture taken from our trip to visit Heather this Fall. For more beautiful photography contact Christy. (haha, just kidding, that was the joke of the day for my three readers.)

WESTWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Mormon Temple in Westwood, which was the target of recent protests by opponents of Proposition 8, has been closed because temple employees received an envelope filled with an unidentified white powdery substance, according to a spokesman for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Spokesman Ronald Smith says a similar envelope was delivered this afternoon to the Salt Lake City Mormon temple. The FBI is on the scene and a hazardous-materials team has been called, Smith says.

These people are crazy! The protests are still going on in front of the temples and now they are sending envelopes with white powder. Come on people, that is ridiculous! The opponents of Prop 8 are protesting nation-wide today. Tomorrow they are supposed to be outside the Newport Beach temple which is right across the street from our church building. It should be interesting to see what happens when we go to church tomorrow. The world is becoming more and more evil.
