Today is our 2nd anniversary. It is amazing how time goes by so fast. Since we have been married we have completed a lot together. We have completed two years of schooling, finishing up Jared’s undergrad work at BYU and starting our long adventure of Medical School. We have lived in 2 apartments, bought a new car, and have traveled more in these last two years than I have in my whole life. We have been to Hawaii, Arizona, Utah, Florida, New York, Bahamas, and soon to Washington DC and Virginia. Needless to say, it has been two fun years. Jared is a great husband who does so much for me and I am so grateful for him. Well, today we went to church in the third floor of the temple, which was neat. The building doesn’t look much like a temple and if no one told me I would have thought it was just a normal building or maybe a church, except for its Moroni. Just like most temples in the world, it was built to fit into the city. It was neat to go to church right below the temple. I was pretty surprised to hear they held church in the same building as the temple. I had never heard of that before. As you enter the building they have the corner stone off to the side, right by the elevators. It was dedicated in 2004, not too long ago. As we were sitting waiting for church to start we wondered how people get to church, the grocery store, shopping, or do anything in the city. It would be so difficult it seems to get around in New York. The streets are so packed and it is amazing that we haven’t seen anyone get run over by a car or even an accident. Visiting here makes me grateful that we have a grocery store, Target, malls and most everything we need right around us. Well, after church, we went to the Barnes and Noble that “You’ve Got Mail” was filmed in so we could cool down for a bit. Today was a warm day. We also walked around Central park and went into Tiffany’s. The jewelry there was so pretty but way over priced. We saw a ring that was over 3 million dollars. It wasn’t that nice of a ring, it definitely wasn’t my style and not worth that kind of money. It is crazy to think that some people in the world can buy a ring that costs as much as a few homes. That blows my mind. It was fun though to see all the floors of jewelry and to be in the famous Tiffany’s. After that we went back to St. Patrick’s Cathedral to take some pictures inside. They have some really nice stain glass windows. We had a more relaxing day, which was nice because my legs are not used to walking so much. I was dragging a little bit today. Tomorrow is our last full day in New York so we will be busy getting the last few things in. We are getting up early and will be back to our hotel late so I am off to bed.

That's cool that you knew it was the Barnes & Noble from the movie.
Happy Anniversary, a little belated.
